What is Hi Flying Dress? We are the largest manufacture, distributor and retailer of Hi Flying Dresses in the world. We sell and rent our dresses to Businesses as well as direct to Customer. Our goal is to help local photographers thrive while also encouraging all women and creatives to Rediscover themselves!
Where are you located? Hi Flying Dress headquartered on the island of Maui in Hawaii and we ship our dresses worldwide. We conduct photoshoots over the entire State of Hawaii either with our photographers or our partners. We are also happy to assist you finding a local photographer in your area.
Can I call you? Absolutely. Our direct number is 808.320.0656. Call or text anytime. We will respond during normal Hawaii business hours.
Are there any real clients on your page? The vast majority of images on our website are real Hi Flying Dress clients. Models and collaboration content can be found on our other platforms. It is important to us to showcase real clients so more women feel comfortable celebrating and rediscovering themselves.

Where can I buy a Hi Flying Dress? You can purchase our Hi Flying Dresses here. We only sell a limited number each year so if you see one you want, buy it.
Are your dresses really so long? It’s not a photoshop? Correct. Our dresses have been specially designed to have exceptionally long trains. Did you know most Santornini flying dress photoshoot companies actually photoshop in long trains.
Do the dresses really fly? Yes and no. The dresses do not fly on their own. They need wind, flipping, running or motion to get the train to perform. So if there is no motion, then no it will not fly. The dress is made of tens of yards of fabric and has a weight of approximately 5 pounds. So it takes some skill and persistence to get the right shot.
What size are your dresses? We have two sizes: 00-14 and Plus + . We are very proud to have inclusive sizes that fit a 00 - 32. The dresses are adjustable for exceptional fit. Hips and booty do not matter for our dress size so order for your bust and waist only.
What colors are your dresses? We are constantly adding new colors to our Collection. To see our current colors, click here.
How do you clean your dresses? We carefully clean and hand press each dress after every single Photoshoot. Keeping our dresses clean from the natural elements makes them last longer and fly better. When you rent a dress, you are not responsible for cleaning. If you purchase one, we are happy to give you specific cleaning instructions for your Hi Flying Dress.
Rentals
How do you ship the dresses? We use USPS or UPS as our shipping carriers.
Is shipping included in the rental fee? Yes. Round trip shipping within the USA is included and shipping bags and prepaid labels are provided. Contact us for international shipments.
Can I take the dress in water? We do not recommend you take the dress in water as you cannot swim with them on however getting them damp is totally ok. Just know as soon as they get damp they don’t fly as well.
Can I take the dress hiking? Yes, we recommend you put it in a backpack and then change on location.
What happens if I damage the dress? To dive into the full legal jargon, please visit this page. You will also receive a PDF copy of this to review before your rental. If you do not agree with our Contract then do not rent a dress.
PRICING
How much does it cost?
$195 for a USA dress rentals. Most clients only need them for a day or two but if you need more time, please let us know. We are normally happy to accommodate special request.
Our Maui Photoshoot experiences which include a Hi Flying Dress and photographer start at $695.
We do not do international rentals however we are happy to sell you one.
Is photography included for rentals? No. We do not employ photographers outside of Maui, Hawaii or know their pricing.
Do I need a professional photographer? No. Many of the images you see on our social accounts are not by professional photographers. Sometimes its more fun to play the the dress for an extended period of time versus only have an hour with it with a photographer.
Can I buy a dress? Yes, we sell brand new and gently used dresses on this website.
Photoshoot DAY - WHAT TO EXPECT
What do I need to bring with me? We suggest wearing a nude pair of panties and pasties. Bra’s do not work well with the dresses but not to worry, they dresses are stretchy and strong to hold most boobs in place. If you require a bra, have your photographer photoshop out the straps.
Do I need heals as I see most your Clients are barefoot? Always bring a pair of heals just in case however, most times, it is safer to be barefoot.
Where do I change into the dress? Wear something that is easy to slip off. We recommend putting the dress over your clothes and then taking them off under it. Think of it like your own personal changing tent!
What do you suggest for makeup? We have found much success in our Clients doing their own hair and makeup. We suggest wearing a bit more as if you were going to out for a nice evening. A bright bold lipstick is always preferable. If you do not wear makeup, not to worry, the Hi Flying Dress only needs you to be stunning.
PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, ETC
What are the payment terms? All rental dresses require a full payment at the time of booking. All new and sample dresses sold are final sale with no returns or exchanges.
Do you have any guarantees? We do everything we can to ensure that your experience with Hi Flying Dress is amazing. If you have a question or comment, please email us.
If I ruin a dress during my Experience do I have to pay for it? Normal wear and tear may happen, and you will not be held accountable for those episodes. For damage beyond that, then yes. If you fail to return it, you will be responsible for the $450 replacement fee.
